REQUEST FOR PLANE PARTS

THE NATIONAL TRANSPORTATION SAFETY BOARD HAS REQUESTED THAT ANY PARTS OR PIECES THAT ARE RECOVERED FROM THE PLANE CRASH BE COLLECTED AND FORWARDED TO THEM. WE HAVE DESIGNATED THE PRO SHOP TO BE THE COLLECTION POINT FOR THIS. PLEASE ADVISE WHERE FOUND WHEN DROPPING OFF. ROGER

WE'RE RIGHT IN THERE

On December 23rd, Golf Hammock Country Club was a player in the PUTTING KIDS FIRST TOUR, benefitting the Ronald MacDonald House. Our two Crack(ed) employees, Jim Daigneault and Les Campbell accompanied Jonathon and Cathie Weaver playing this daunting field of play. Fun was had by all, and I'm sure especially Jonathon, as he played from the tips and carded somewhere in the vicinity of 72. And Cathie kept right up with "our boys" as she breezed through the eighteen with relative ease. You can see the power point presentation at www.golf400.com. Go to the Visual Tour link on the left menu column. Reporting from the circle, this is Roger the Ogre.

CONGRATULATIONS -- A HOLE-IN-ONE

Yep!! Curt Passafume decided that hitting the regulation 3 strokes on hole number 3 would take too long so he decided to shorten the time he would spend and put the ball in the hole using just one stroke. Now that is making the most of your time on a hole. And he did it all with a four iron. Congratulations, Curt, Here's to a few more.

AN EARLY HEADS UP

Remember that in just 2 months, the GOLF HAMMOCK MEMBER-GUEST TOURNAMENT will be here. Namely, the 2nd week of March, 2009. The competition will be open to both Men and Women. All may play the Practice Round Friday, the Competition round and Dinner Dance Saturday, and the Final Competition round on Sunday.

A DAILY BIT OF GOLF TRIVIA

The last time a PGA TOUR ended in a tie was at the 1952 Greater-Jacksonville Open, when Sam Snead forfeited to Doug Ford after 72 holes.
